How Did I Write My Groom Wedding Speech That Stunned Everyone?
About me: I know what you’re thinking right now. Why would someone write a page on writing wedding speeches? Well, I would. And do you know why? Because when I needed to write my own groom wedding speech I could use all the help I could find. I was so nervous I could die. And now I’m sharing the knowledge and experience I gained with all of you. If you have any questions or remarks, feel free to comment at the bottom.

I’m Adam McCabe and when I got married with Denise, I had to write my own wedding speech. And boy, did that give me a hard time. Luckily for you I’m writing down all the tips I gathered so you will have it much easier.
So let’s start:
Bride and Groom Wedding Speech Ideas
When it comes to the speeches on your big day, sometimes you need to consider the bride and groom speeches together.
We didn’t want to spoil the surprise by writing out speeches together. But me and my wife thought that it might be a good idea to have a chat and figure out the direction we wanted our wedding speeches to go in and strengthen each others speech.
Who Says What – The Decision
When it comes to any type of speech, whether the groom’s wedding speech or the father of groom wedding speech, it can help to get your stories straight (ducks in a row) and make sure that every single speech isn’t a part repeat of the other. This is why discussing bride and groom wedding speech ideas with your better half is a great idea.
Not all bride and grooms will do separate speeches. Either only one of you is doing the speech, or maybe you even want to address it together! If you still haven’t decided then I recommend you have a good discussion before moving onto the next steps.
The Perfect Speeches
It’s a very good idea to talk to your future wife and ask whether she’s preparing a speech herself. Chances are that you will both have a few of the same ideas, such as telling stories of how you met and what you’ve done together during your courtship.
There are a few options to follow: One option would be to cover different topics. Another option would be to for both of you to cover the story of how you got together – but from different points of view. This can make for exciting, funny, yet still poignant grooms wedding speeches that your guests will love and enjoy!
Finding bride and groom wedding speech ideas together isn’t always the norm, but I think sharing and talking through some ideas – while still keeping the speeches private until the big day – can be really inspirational and exciting.
