Western Blokes Looking for A Vietnamese Bride

You might have noticed a fad in Vietnam for many decades. A trend of European blokes going to Vietnam and signing with personals agencies to locate a Vietnamese bride. As American and European culture alters and Western ladies become increasingly self reliant and more in the vein of fellows, conventional Western men are looking to Vietnam to find a more conventional bride.

Vietnamese women are often beautiful, thin, take very good care of themselves and also take very good care of their men. They cook, they clean, they take care of the kids and they make their bloke feel like a god. It’s no surprise American blokes desire a Vietnamese bride.

For the ladies, the fellows are perceived as a good catch. Western fellows, even less affluent ones, usually have more cash than Vietnamese blokes. Western men afford a Vietnamese girl a chance to leave Vietnam and see another country. American fellows are seen by some Vietnamese girls as being kinder than Vietnamese men and Vietnamese men have a certain notoriety for not being faithful. Lots of Vietnamese guys also don’t settle down after marriage, and keep a mistress even though they have a spouse and children at home. So for many Vietnamese ladies, a American bloke present things a Vietnamese man does not.

As you might imagine, there are still some complications in wedding a Vietnamese bride. Language differences, cultural dissimilarities and visa problems come directly to my mind when considering some of the concerns that Vietnamese-Western couples may come across. Overall though a Vietnamese bride might be a very good idea for many men that have become disillusioned with Western ladies. If you begin the partnership with some forethought and with caution you have every opportunity of having a successful marriage.

To the guys who come to Vietnam looking for marriage and a Vietnamese bride, I say “Good fortune”. It can happen for you, especially in this day and age of internet dating and personals. To the Vietnamese women I say Get to know this man slowly. In any culture, there are good and wicked. Watch out for danger signs, and trust your instincts. If you have questions, they are present for a reason. Money isn’t everything.
